Taylor Swift has reacted to Hugh Grant‘s praise of her ‘Eras’ concert at Wembley stadium – see their exchange below.
Grant attended the second of Swift’s three sold-out ‘Eras’ tour concerts at Wembley this past weekend (June 22). The following day, the Notting Hill actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to sing Swift’s praise, writing: “Dear [Taylor], you have an incredible show, an amazing and [very] hospitable team and and excellent if gigantic boyfriend.”
He continued: “Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old.”
Despite her stacked schedule – Swift is due to return to Wembley for five more sold-out shows in the coming weeks – the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer took some time to craft a short but poignant reply to Grant.
Swift wrote: “As a long time Hugh Grant stan, this tweet is very important to my culture.”

Hugh Grant wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance at her massive Wembley shows this past weekend. Across three days, the singer hosted the likes of Paul McCartney, Tom Cruise, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Salma Hayek, Liam Hemsworth, Sophie Turner, Greta Gerwig, Jon Bon Jovi and more.
NME reviewed Swift’s first UK show in Edinburgh, awarding the show a full five stars: “Despite being an arena show, in a huge, cavernous venue, Swift and her fans have managed to cultivate a community. Strangers swap friendship bracelets, laugh and cry together, and embrace the tour’s in-jokes and lore (for example shouting “one, two, three, let’s go bitch” during ‘Delicate’).
“It’s the power of Swift, an artist who’s inspired not only the renaming of a Scottish Loch, but also countless fans to come out and embrace being a part of the Eras family. With The Eras Tour, then, Swift’s managed to craft a marvel of a show that comes with a beating heart.”
